Mamardashvili set for Valencia buyout

Valencia are set to exercise their buyout clause for goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili, says Todo Fichajes.

The Georgia international signed on loan in La Liga from Dinamo Tbilisi in his home country in June.

Originally intended to figure in the reserves, he has instead figured regularly for the senior side this term and will be rewarded with a full-time stay in Spain.

The attacking midfielder, who most recently had spells with West Ham and Anderlecht following a doping ban, hangs up his boots after a near-two-decade career.

Simeone believes he would be a great addition to his Madrid side but he is expected to cost at least €50 million (£43m/$59m).

Chelsea are willing to sanction N'Golo Kante's departure in 2022 - according to Fichajes.

The French midfielder is currently tied to the Blues until 2023, but there is little sign that he will sign an extension on that deal.

Chelsea will, therefore, consider selling Kante next year to avoid losing him on a free transfer when his current contract expires.
